Two questions, one hour, and a clearer view of where you actually stand.
Did you know that AI is changing your business or organisation from two directions at once, and most leaders are only watching one of them?
Inside your organisation, AI is changing how your team works, decides and delivers, whether you’ve formalised that or not. It’s happening informally through a dozen individual Claude or ChatGPT tabs. Outside your organisation, AI is changing how your customers search, research and choose who to trust, often long before they ever land on your website.
Being ready for one without the other is only half the opportunity.
What the Data Actually Shows
We built the Meres AI Maturity Assessment™ because so many conversations with CEOs and founders started the same way: a genuine sense that AI mattered, and no clear picture of where their own organisation actually stood.
The data backs that up. Over 85% of organisations are already experimenting with AI in some form. Most are still scoring between 2 and 4 out of 10 on actual integration, the gap between trying tools and genuinely embedding them. Only 28% describe their AI adoption as truly mature.
That gap is rarely about the technology itself. In our experience it sits across strategy, data, governance and culture; the dimensions leaders consistently underestimate until they see their own results laid out in front of them.
One early respondent, the CEO of a fast-growing 52-person B2B firm, scored 65 out of 175 on our assessment, placing them firmly in the Emerging category. Their own words on their biggest opportunity: streamlining operational processes and data synthesis. That’s exactly the kind of honest, evidence-based result the assessment is designed to surface. We avoid generic advice and mirror back the reality.
The Other Half of the Picture
So far, we’ve been sharing the inside view. So what about the outside view, we hear you ask?
The outside view matters just as much, and it’s moving just as fast.
Google is no longer the only place your customers go to find and vet a business. ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and other AI-powered search experiences are increasingly part of how people discover who to trust, before they’ve ever typed your name into a search bar. Being brilliant internally counts for very little if the people looking for what you offer can’t find you in the first place. Worst, if they find a competitor instead.
That’s why Maggie Sarfo, our CEO at Meres Consult has teamed up with Silvia Del Corso, Director of multi-award-winning agency PinkSEO, for joint webinars looking at both sides of this shift.
AI Readiness & Visibility: Our Webinar Series
Maggie and Silvia run regular joint webinars exploring both sides of the AI shift, together.
Maggie walks through what it actually means to be AI-ready on the inside, using the Meres AI Readiness & Maturity framework across all seven dimensions:
- Strategy and Leadership
- Data Readiness
- Technology and Infrastructure
- Skills and Talent
- Use Cases and Adoption
- Governance and Risk
- Culture and Change
We explore this alongside real use cases that move businesses beyond experimentation and into measurable commercial value and impact.
Silvia covers the other half: what SEO, AEO and GEO actually mean in plain English, how they work together, and what it takes to stay visible and trusted across both traditional and AI-powered search.
Spoiler alert: AI search isn’t replacing SEO. Strong technical foundations and genuine authority matter more than ever, just as real human expertise needs to keep deepening to realise the full value of AI internally.
By the end of a session, you’ll have a clearer view of:
- how ready your organisation really is to adopt AI
- where your biggest AI readiness gaps might be hiding
- how AI is reshaping the way customers discover businesses like yours
- what SEO, AEO and GEO mean for your visibility
- why authority and trust carry real weight across both Google and AI search
- a set of practical questions to assess your own readiness, inside and out
We don’t do hype, nor jargon. Simply a clear view and honest assessment of where things stand. These sessions are aimed at CEOs, business owners, founders and senior leaders across most sectors.
